📍 Location

Bloomington Ice Center & Grossinger Motors Arena
201 S. Roosevelt Ave, Bloomington, Illinois

  • There are two sheets of ice for this competition. The BIC rink is adjoining Grossinger Arena, and skaters may use the hallway between the two.

  • Parking is available in the garage next to Bloomington Ice Center, with an additional garage a few blocks away.

  • Please do NOT park in spots reserved for officials.

  • A Farmer’s Market in downtown Bloomington on Saturday morning may make parking busier than usual—please allow extra time.

Food & Concessions

  • The concession stand will be open all weekend.

  • We’re excited to offer Annie’s Eats Award-Winning Barbecue in the BIC lobby on Saturday from 5:30–7:30 PM.

⛸️ Check-In

  • If you have early practice ice, the rink will open 30 minutes prior to your session. Please arrive ready to skate.

  • Please check your (or your skater’s) EMS competition portal and confirm:

    • Medical Registry is complete

    • Emergency Contact is complete

    • Both show a green checkmark

If these are not completed, you will be asked to step out of line to finish them before check-in.
Credentials will be provided once all required items are verified.

🎁 Skaters will receive a welcome gift at check-in, which includes a positive affirmation clothespin.
We encourage skaters to clip it onto another skater’s bag or share it directly—our goal is to create a ripple effect of positivity throughout the event.
Additional clothespins will be available for purchase in the Arena concourse.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Locker Rooms / Ready Areas

We will be following all U.S. Figure Skating SafeSport guidelines:

  • Locker rooms are for:

    • Putting on skates

    • Hair/makeup only

  • No changing is permitted unless fully covered (e.g., wearing a tan leotard underneath)

👉 SafeSport Handbook:

  • Skaters 10 & under: one parent will receive a wristband for locker room access

  • No other adults are permitted past the check-in desk

  • Note: Production Ensemble teams will be assigned locker rooms in accordance with policy.

Additional space is available in:

  • Arena hallways

  • Upstairs arena bathrooms

  • BIC lobby

We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe environment for all skaters.

🧊 Practice Ice & Test Credit

  • Practice ice is still available:

    • Through EMS

    • In person during the event

  • We are offering test credit in accordance with U.S. Figure Skating rules:
