CIFSC PRODUCTION TEAMS
CIFSC skaters love performing together! Our three production teams perform at Bison Games, Open Skates, Exhibitions, and more! In the future, we may even compete at Theater on Ice Competitions. This year, we are offering 3 different teams:
Advanced Team - Coached by Rachael Shropshire and Lindsay Danner which will meet begin in January 2026
Aspire Team - Coached by Madalyn Brook, which meets Tuesdays 5-5:30 September - May. Sign up through the City of Bloomington.
Basic Skills Team - Coached by Evan Fischer, which meets Tuesdays 5-5:30 September-May. Sign up through City of Bloomington.
SHOWCASE SKATING
Showcase is an exciting theatrical opportunity for skaters who love entertaining crowds. With the use of props, elaborate costumes and theatrical performance, showcase fuses figure skating with artistic creativity. Showcase events include opportunities for single skaters, duets, small ensembles and production numbers. Preliminary level skaters and above who compete at competitions with CJS scoring can qualify for Showcase Nationals which occurs late July/early August each year!
Singles skaters of all ages and levels can participate in showcase in the following categories:
Emotional Performance
Choreographic Artistry (Juvenile - Senior, Adult Masters only)
Lyrical Pop
Character Performance
Comedic Impressions
Open Inflatable
Theme Event
