Hello CIFSC Families,

May 1–3 is our 5th Annual Excel and Beyond Competition here in Bloomington! We have record-breaking numbers registered this year, with over 300 skaters and more than 500 events. Because of this incredible growth, we will be utilizing all three days of competition and will need plenty of volunteers to help make this event a success.

Please review the available volunteer slots below and click the button to sign up for your shift.

Minimum Volunteer Expectations

  • JAM Families: 4 hours per family

  • Full Members: 8 hours per family

  • All Members: Please consider donating items for our hospitality rooms. *An additional sign-up with items needed will be out soon

We strongly encourage volunteers to sign up for multiple shifts per day whenever possible.

Volunteer Check-In & Helpful Reminders

All volunteers should check in at the VIP entrance of the arena (registration table).

  • Ice monitors, music players, and announcers: Please dress warmly, as you will be rink-side

  • Runners: Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk throughout your shift

This year, we have Head Volunteers assigned to each competition group. In the coming week, you will receive an email from your committee head with additional details about the assignment you selected.
