Sponsorship Opportunities

On behalf of the Central Illinois Figure Skating Club, we invite you to become a sponsor for the 2025-26 season. Since 2012, we have supported figure skating in Bloomington-Normal, encouraging skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship for skaters of all ages.

At the Bloomington Ice Center, we advance all areas of figure skating and foster community through competitions, ice shows, and engagement activities with members ranging from beginners to experienced athletes.

Our events draw crowds! Our skating exhibitions and ice shows draw hundreds of people in, including our Annual Ice Show at Grossinger Motors Arena that usually has over 500 in attendance!  We are part of a National Series, and our annual CIFSC Excel and Beyond Competition draws over 325 skaters from Illinois and across the country to Bloomington-Normal for the 3-day event. With your support, we can keep programs accessible to our local skaters, reach more youth, and strengthen Bloomington-Normal’s reputation as a figure skating destination.

We strive to offer high-quality programming and unforgettable experiences for skaters. Your sponsorship will help us offer more and varied opportunities for our skaters to learn, practice, and perform. Some of our common expenses include:

  • Ice Rental Fees: Costs for securing rink time for practices, lessons, and events. Did you know, every hour of ice time costs almost $300!?!? Your support helps take that burden off our skaters so they can focus on what they do best – skate!

  • Coaching and Instruction: Compensation for professional coaches and guest instructors.

  • Competition and Show Expenses: Event registration, medals, trophies, costumes, sets, and sound/lighting equipment. For our national competition that we host, we also must fly qualified judges in from across the country!

  • Equipment and Supplies: Blades, skates, costumes, uniforms, and club-owned skates for beginners.

  • Scholarships and Financial Assistance: Ensuring skating opportunities for youth from all income levels.

Sponsorship Levels & Benefits

BRONZE SPONSOR ($100) 

  • Logo or name listed on club website and selected printed materials. 

  • Recognition in the club newsletter and on social media. 

  • Recognition as a Sponsor in our event programs. 

SILVER SPONSOR ($300) 

All of the above, plus: 

  • Logo placement featured prominently on club website, flyers, and event programs 

  • Rotating recognition as a sponsor at club ice, no less than once per season 

  • Recognition on all Club T-Shirts sold for the entire 2026-27 season 

  • Opportunity to provide coupons or swag in gift bags at events 

GOLD SPONSOR ($1,000+) 

All of the above, plus: 

  • Recognition as a presenting sponsor for an annual ice show or major competition 

  • Recognition as a featured sponsor at club ice, no less than four consecutive sessions. 

  • Thank you during event announcements.  

  • Access to premium, reserved seats.
