Both Junior Academy Members and Full Members of CIFSC are eligible to participate in our Annual Ice Show! Part opportunities vary based on type of membership, skater level, and amount of practice time according to the table below:

Group number and duet/trio rehearsals will take place on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:00 during club ice. Additional off-ice practices and ice time will be accommodated through freestyle ice. If skaters cannot make club ice but would still like to participate, please note the days you are available when responding that you will participate and the ice show team will consider whether an exception can be made.
The show roles for Gold/Sliver/Bronze groups and practice schedule will be announced no later than July 25th. The Platinum groups and practice schedule will be announced by 9/5. Solos will be by invitation of the coaches only, and invitations to be part of the Gold group will be sent out by 6/20.
Ice Show Fee
All skaters will be required to pay a fee to be in the show. This fee will cover:
a costume for your skater
ice time for both Monday and Thursday club ice
choreography*
and coaching*
*Soloists fee has been reduced since choreography and coaching will occur during lesson time and freestyle.
A $75 costume fee/deposit is due at the time of Ice Show registration. The remainder of the fee can be paid in full or in three installments of $75 in August, September and October. Full members who purchase value packages will only pay for the $75 deposit (costume fee) since the additional cost is included in the package.
Rehearsal schedule and important dates
Gold/Silver/Bronze Cast
Gold/Silver/Bronze Cast may be scheduled any of the following days for rehearsals. Please mark your availability in your registration form.
Mondays in August: 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24 and 8/31
Thursdays in September: 9/3, 9/10, 9/17*
Mondays in September: 9/12*, 9/21, 9/28
*Dependent on when the Arena opens
All Gold/Silver/Bronze cast members are expected to attend Monday rehearsals in all of October so that we can run the show and work on important transitions: 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26.
Platinum Cast
Platinum Cast will be announced by 9/5. Rehearsals for Platinum cast will be:
Part Rehearsals (Thursdays): 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29
Full Show Rehearsals (Mondays): 10/19, 10/26

Non-Members: Participate in a Learn To Skate Group Routine!
This event only comes around once a year, do not miss out on this special opportunity for your skater to perform in the arena under the spotlight! All learn to skate participants who are enrolled in Fall LTS are eligible to enroll. Registration fee to participate covers rehearsal ice time and costume accessories. This does not include admission and optional items to purchase such as pictures, ice show TShirt, and flowers. Skaters will be grouped by level and perform a 2-minute routine (shadowed by a LTS instructor) These LTS routines will be sprinkled throughout the show with other performances by Central Illinois Figure Skating Club!

Photography
Club Skaters - photos will be taken in August for your headshots for the year (dates will be shared soon). These head shots will be used for our Program and for our Wall of Fame. We would like all skaters to wear their Club Jacket for these pictures. If you don't have a Club Jacket, we have some club jackets you can wear for the head shots. More information on additional photo and video opportunities will be coming soon!
Sponsorship Opportunities
The deadline for sponsorships is 9/1 to include them on our T-Shirts and in our Program. Did you know you can sponsor our Club for just $100 as a Bronze Sponsor? The skater who raises the MOST in sponsorship money will get a special recognition in our program and a gift from the Club!
